Mobile-first, data-light
Most searches in Nepal happen on phones, often on patchy mobile data outside the valley. Heavy themes and unoptimised images cost rankings and customers. Core Web Vitals work here is about revenue, not vanity scores.
I'm a Digital Marketing Manager and SEO trainer based in Lalitpur. For 7+ years I've helped SaaS, eCommerce and enterprise brands earn qualified organic demand from Google, Google Maps and now AI answer engines. I've built traffic from zero to 180K+ monthly sessions and cut a client's paid acquisition cost fivefold.
As an SEO Specialist in Nepal, my work starts with search intent. Before I build a content pipeline or a technical roadmap, I study the exact questions your customers ask and where they are in their decision. A student comparing courses, a procurement manager shortlisting vendors and a family looking for a flat in Lalitpur all type differently and need different pages. Traffic alone doesn't matter. What matters is attracting qualified visitors who are ready to act.
Search no longer ends at ten blue links. I build for Google AI Overviews, Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) alongside classic rankings. That means a strong technical foundation and clear entity signals, so that Google, Bing and AI assistants such as ChatGPT and Perplexity can crawl, understand and accurately describe your brand.
Over the last seven years I've led cross-functional teams of up to 35 people, run forensic technical SEO audits and turned raw analytics into growth models that leadership can act on. I took a SaaS platform from zero to 180,000 monthly organic users in 15 months, grew a real-estate portal to 40K monthly visitors while cutting its ad spend by 80%, and increased a B2B site's traffic 20× for a client in India. In every case the goal was the same: sustainable, long-term ROI that keeps paying off after a campaign ends.
“Most sites don't have a content problem. They have a clarity problem. Search engines and AI models can only send you customers they can understand.” Madhav Kushwaha, SEO Specialist
Global SEO playbooks assume fast networks, English-only queries and mature review ecosystems. Search in Nepal works differently. These are the patterns I plan around for every Nepali brand, and for every international brand that wants to reach Nepali customers.
Most searches in Nepal happen on phones, often on patchy mobile data outside the valley. Heavy themes and unoptimised images cost rankings and customers. Core Web Vitals work here is about revenue, not vanity scores.
The same customer may search in English, in Devanagari Nepali or in Romanised Nepali typed on an English keyboard. I research all three, so your pages match how people actually type rather than how a keyword tool assumes they do.
For restaurants, clinics, showrooms and institutes in Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur, the Google Business Profile often drives more calls than the website. Correct categories, consistent NAP details, photos and a review system all matter.
A .com.np store selling inside Nepal and a Kathmandu SaaS selling to the US need opposite strategies: different competitors, link sources and content depth. I've worked on both sides, from cgdigital.com.np to global SaaS.
Hire me for one discipline or the full growth system. Every engagement starts with an audit of your site, so we fix what's actually holding you back instead of following a generic checklist.
I fix Core Web Vitals, implement schema markup, optimise crawl budget and keep the site architecture clean, so search engines spend their attention on the pages that make you money.
I design scalable organic growth frameworks and manage large content architectures for high-traffic platforms with many stakeholders, templates and markets.
I plan E-E-A-T-driven content clusters and optimise them for AI Overviews and answer engines, so your brand is ranked, quoted and correctly described.
I build local search visibility in Nepal and in your target cities abroad with targeted Google Business Profile optimisation and location pages.
I run high-authority outreach and data-driven digital PR campaigns that earn coverage and links instead of buying them.
Forensic site audits for sudden traffic drops: I find the cause, whether it's a core update, a migration or a penalty, and lead the site back to recovery.
More and more of your customers' questions are answered before anyone clicks. These are three related disciplines. I plan them together so that rankings, direct answers and AI mentions support each other.
SEO earns rankings and clicks in traditional search results by making pages crawlable, relevant and authoritative for the queries your customers use.
AEO structures content so a clear, complete answer can be extracted directly, for example in featured snippets, “People also ask” boxes or voice results.
GEO makes your brand's facts clear, consistent and well evidenced across the web, so AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity can describe and cite you accurately.
Plain-language promise: no one can guarantee placement in an AI answer, just as no one can guarantee a Google ranking. What I can give you is a brand that's easy for machines to understand and trust, plus measurement that shows whether it's working.
You'll always know what I'm doing, why I'm doing it and how we'll judge whether it worked. Stage lengths depend on site size and how quickly your team can ship changes.
Business goals, margins, audiences and competitors. I learn what a valuable visitor means for you.
A technical, content and authority audit backed by Search Console and analytics data, plus a baseline we can measure against.
A prioritised roadmap that maps each keyword family to the page that should own it, with quick wins and long-term goals running side by side.
Fixes, content and outreach shipped in sprints, with dev-ready tickets and editorial briefs your team can execute.
Monthly reporting in plain language: what moved, why, and what we'll do next. Wins get doubled down on and dead ends get cut.
No anonymous screenshots. These outcomes come from brands you can look up, achieved as an in-house lead or a hands-on strategist.
KrispCall was a new B2B SaaS product entering a crowded cloud-telephony category, aimed mainly at the US. I built the full growth system: technical SEO, on-page optimisation, schema markup, content marketing and high-quality backlinks. Technical audits and performance work also cut the site's bounce rate by 50%, so the new traffic arrived ready to convert.
The property portal relied on paid ads to bring in leads. I redesigned its go-to-market and demand-generation strategy around organic search. That brought in 40K monthly organic visitors and cut paid spend from $50 to $10 a day within three months, with the same number of leads.
I designed a B2B demand-generation campaign for the investment firm. Its content strategy was matched to the keywords buyers were already searching for, so the site went from barely visible to capturing a major share of its market's search volume.
For this B2B logistics company I ran SEO and content as one combined plan. It brought in 1,500–2,000 new users a month from organic search and multiplied online sales.
I led digital strategy across eight brand verticals, including Wai Wai, CG Digital, CG Motors and CG Hospitality. I ran international launch campaigns such as “Wai Wai 40 Years” and “Enter the SpiceVerse”, built a media and publisher network across India, Sri Lanka, the Philippines, the Maldives and Kenya, and led technical SEO for the cgdigital.com.np store.
I run SEO and paid acquisition for client sites in four industries and for a portfolio of WordPress products. Performance is reviewed weekly in GA4, Search Console and CRM data.
I've worked at a SaaS product company, at an agency in Mumbai, for Nepal's largest conglomerate and in the classroom. That's why my strategies hold up in the real world: they've been executed, managed and taught.
An advanced programme for working marketers who already know the basics and want to run SEO at a senior level.
A full-stack digital marketing course for career starters and switchers, built around practical work.
I lead organic and paid growth for a portfolio of client websites in four industries, including education, and for a set of WordPress products.
CG Corp Global is Nepal's largest conglomerate. I managed digital strategy across eight brand verticals (FMCG, hospitality, brewery, motors and electronics) and more than 25 active brands.
Based in Mumbai, I led B2B growth work for clients in finance, logistics and technology, combining SEO, content and paid campaigns.
I led SEO and go-to-market marketing for SaaS products sold to global markets, including KrispCall (cloud telephony) and TimeTracko (time tracking), working closely with the product and engineering teams.
This is where I learned SEO from the ground up, writing content for WordPress theme brands such as Rara Themes and Blossom Themes that had to rank and convert.
My computer science degree is why technical SEO comes naturally to me. I read code, rendering pipelines and server logs the way a developer does, which makes it easier to work with engineering teams.
Most SEO courses teach the tools. My classes teach how to make decisions: how to read a site the way a crawler does, how to prioritise with limited dev time, and how to explain SEO to the people who sign the cheques. I teach at ODcrU Academy and TechAxis Institute, and I run private workshops for in-house teams.
Nepali household names, global SaaS and WordPress product companies, in more than ten industries and several continents.
Each industry has its own search behaviour, compliance concerns and seasonal patterns. I've done hands-on work in all of the industries below.
Straight answers to the questions I'm asked most often on discovery calls. Have a different question? Email me.
Ask for named, verifiable outcomes instead of screenshots without context: which domain, which metric, over what period. A good SEO specialist in Nepal should explain how they will diagnose your site before promising anything, show experience in your business model (local, eCommerce, SaaS or export), and refuse to guarantee rankings.
Technical fixes and improvements to pages that already rank can show movement within weeks. Competitive head terms usually take several months of consistent content, technical and authority work. The timeline depends on your starting authority, competition and how quickly changes ship.
Cost depends on scope: a one-time audit, a fixed implementation project or an ongoing growth retainer. I scope work after a free audit call so that the price reflects the actual problems on your site rather than a generic package.
Yes. Much of my work has been for global SaaS, travel and WordPress product brands, as well as companies in India and the Philippines. I work remotely from Lalitpur and work comfortably across time zones.

No. Nobody controls Google's rankings, and anyone who guarantees them is a risk to your domain. What I commit to is a transparent strategy, measurable leading indicators, honest reporting and work that compounds over time.
Yes. I teach advanced SEO at ODcrU Academy in Kathmandu and full-stack digital marketing at TechAxis Institute in Lalitpur, and I run in-house training for marketing teams that want to build SEO capability internally.
